Iowa Casinos
There are many casinos located in the commonwealth, the majority on moored river boats. The largest of the Iowa gambling halls is the Meswaki Bingo Casino Hotel, an Indian gambling den in Tama, with 127,669 square feet of casino area, 1,500 slots, thirty table games, such as chemin de fer, craps, roulette, and baccarat, and several types of poker; including three eatery’s, biweekly productions, and gambling classes. One more large Indian gambling hall is the Winna Vegas, with 45,000 square feet, 668 one armed bandits, and fourteen table games. Also, the Ameristar Casino Hotel in Council Bluffs is available 24 hours, with 38,500 sq.ft., 1,589 slots, 36 table games, and four eatery’s. There are several other popular Iowa casinos, including Harrah’s Council Bluffs, with 28,250 square feet, 1,212 one armed bandits, and 39 table games.
A tinier Iowa gambling den is the Diamond Jo, a water based casino in Dubuque, with 17,813 sq.ft., 776 one armed bandits, and 19 table games. The Catfish Bend paddle wheel boat, in Fort Madison, with 13,000 square feet, 535 slots, and 14 table games. One more Iowa river based gambling den, The Isle of Capri, is available never closes, with 24,939 square feet, 1,100 slot machines, and 24 table games. The Mississippi Belle II, a 10,577 sq.ft. river boat gambling hall in Clinton, has 506 slots, 14 table games, live shows, and Thursday vingt-et-un matches.
