Do Not Have an Alcoholic Beverage … Gamble!
If you enjoy having a a drink every now and then, leave your money at home if you set out to do your drinking in a casino. I’m serious. Clean out your pocketbook, your money belt, and keep all cash, plastic credit and checkbooks out of the casino. Grab whatever money you intend to use on refreshments, tips and whatever pocket change you anticipate to throw away and keep the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Realistic more like. You could have a win after a inebriated night out with your comrades and be blessed enough to hook a long toss at a smokin craps table. Keep that account because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you continually drink and bet. The pair just don’t mix.
Leaving your cash back at the hotel might be a little bit excessive, but defensive actions for drastic actions is required. If you gamble to profit, then do not drink alcohol and gamble.
